Oh hello bright maxi dresses! This was a shoot for vintage boutique curator Carrone Vintage. I was dressed in a Edwardian-era vintage tea gown, it's deep blue in colour with mini red rose prints and a elegant crochet neckline. Because of my height (I'm fun sized), I never thought I would suit a maxi dress, I'd always feel like it would swamp and hibernate me. It's only recently that I then tried on a strappy maxi dress. They're actually pretty comfy, it feels like you're almost naked, which is so weird because there's more material and it covers your legs, but, it's all loose and flowy! As the fully fledged maxi convert, I ensure I pop a couple of maxi's in my holiday suitcase. The chiffon/cotton sleeveless ones are great for dining in the sun and for chilling at the beach. The ones made of viscose material, have long sleeves or thigh split are great for special occasions like ballroom events. What do you think?
