I know, I look naked. If you've (for some bizarre reason) Googled for uncensored pics and landed here, I'm afraid you've fallen on the W̶o̶n̶g̶ wrong blog. If you're a newbie here, welcome to my beauty post. Let's delve deep into the layers of my nakedness and talk about the title of this post, skin. I've recently become more inspired by skincare. I'm going to pass on which products I use for my 'cleanse, tone & moisturise' routine. I use St Ives facial scrub, a creamy scrub that clears out your blackheads, pores and removes dirt & oil, it has natural ingredients and smells delicious. Next up is toner. I know it's weird, but I love wiping off the dirt oil from my face and seeing it's grossness in a cotton pad, don't you agree? I use Nivea Visage which leaves my skin clean & refreshed. And lastly, what's the creme de la creme of skincare? Moisturiser, of course! I recommend slapping on Estee Lauder Daywear occasionally and Olay Essentials Day Cream for everyday use. Memoirs Of A Western Geisha

As a follow up from my previous post: 'The Making Of A Geisha', these are the final edits. Layers of silky reds and pinks, printed orchids, strong red lips and to prevent any naughty tanning, my new best friend, the purple parasol. I've listed the make-up products used above so you can get the L̶o̶n̶d̶o̶n̶ Geisha look. Apologies in advance if you can see my real skin colour appear around my hairline. Ha, I wonder if they cut out the Geisha's forehead from the front book cover of Memoirs Of A Geisha for the same reason?!

The Making Of A Geisha

Geisha's are known for their red lips and white skin...quiet, passive and demure, yet sensual and seductive, I didn't have to go to Kaburenjo school to train but in it's place, I was painted for four hours and consumed a lot of caffeine to prepare for Geisha glory.

Tribal

IMATS (International Makeup Artist Trade Show) is a colourful worldwide conference where make-up junkies from the industry gather to fill up their palettes, learn about new products, network and watch tutorials (a bit like a live YouTube) on stage. Little ole me was invited to model for the on-stage makeup competition by Makeup Artist: Emma Jade. She's talented so I knew she was going to work some incredible magic on this face. Lots of your makeup brands attend like MAC, Illamasqua and NARS, there's also a lot of the smaller more boutique brands like Inglot and Make-up Studio. Want some Tribal inspiration? Holi Watermelon

So I painted the town red… and yellow and green and blue.

And when I say 'town' I actually mean myself.

This shoot reminds me of Holi, which is a Hindu festival celebrating the arrival of Spring (will Spring please arrive already? Thanks). Excited folk throw dried paint into the air and at each other, it's a multi-coloured free for all!

I didn't have a painting match with anyone, my lovely Make-up Artist (literally) flicked eyeshadow at me. Personally I think the paint makes for a vast improvement.

I've created a beauty tutorial for you beauts on how to re-create the looks. Hope you have fun with it and be sure to turn that concrete grey landscape into a gleeful skyline.

Holi

1. You need a bright, light and fresh face, so prep the skin by cleansing, toning and moisturising. Shu Uemura Cleanser, S hu Uemura Cleansing Beauty Oil, Shu Uemura Whitening Cream and SHU UEMURA: Under Base Mousse Base works well for photography.

2. Apply a foundation thats a shade lighter than your usual foundation, like Shu Uemura The Lightbulb Fluid Foundation in 375. Powder: SHU UEMURA - Face Architect Powder 364 (Whitens the face)

3. Apply liquid eyeliner on the top lids: M·A·C LIQUID EYE LINER. The Shu Uemura Quad Custom Palette Black is perfect for creating a smokey eye. Blend the black eyeshadow mixed with a tiny bit of Vaseline on the top of eyelids and smudge across the lash line and build up the intensity into the outer corners. Blend the dark grey eyeshadow lightly into eye sockets. Apply the white eyeshadow into the inner corners and on top of the black eyeshadow to make your eyes appear

bigger.

3. Draw your eyebrows in black: Shu Uemura Eyebrow Liner. Shu Uemura have an amazing range of eyelashes like: Shu Uemura False Eyelashes

4. Apply red lipstick: NARS COSMETICS Lip Lacquer. Apply bright pink blush: Blush: LAURA MERCIER Second Skin Cheek Colour

5. Use Dazzle Dust eyeshadows (we used BarryM) to flick ramdomly onto the face with a brush.

6. If you want to create your own photo shoot, you need a dark room and bright lights facing towards your face, if you have a reflector, point it towards your face. Eliminate all light from the room and onto your face. To create 'the naked effect' wear a bandeau top so we can only see the top of your chest, and snap, snap, snap.

Watermelon Motherboard

1. Cleanse, tone and moisturise with products above.

2. Apply a foundation thats a shade lighter than your usual foundation, like Shu Uemura The Lightbulb Fluid Foundation in 375. Powder: SHU UEMURA - Face Architect Powder 364 (Whitens the face)

3. Fill in your whole inner eyelid crease with reddish pink eyeshadow, like Illamasqua Eyeshadow in Matt Daemon and fill the top with bright green eyeshadow: MAC Eye Shadow in Swimming. Apply white eyeshadow in the inner corners of your eyes. Apply liquid eyeliner on the top of your eye lids.

4. Draw your eyebrows in black: M·A·C M·A·C EYE BROWS.

4. Apply red lipstick: Shu Uemura Rouge Unlimited Red in RD185. Apply blush: Blush: LAURA MERCIER Second Skin Cheek Colour
